Welcome »

Thanks for visiting our BRAND NEW website and forum that has been created especially for parents and carers of school-age children.

Even before your child starts school there are a hundred questions every parent asks,

"whats the best school in my area?",

"How hard is to get a place at my favourite school?"

"what is the best way to improve the chances of getting my child into a good school?"

We found that when we were looking for a school for our daughters in our local area, there were hundreds of websites dedicated to providing you with Ofsted reports and league tables, but we realised that often the goverment  results did not always give a true reflection of a school.

We really wanted to talk to other parents in the area who could tell us more about the best and worst schools near us and offer advice on the best ways to get a place at those schools.

We all want the best start in life for our child and which school they attend has a big impact on their future.

This site has been designed so that parents have somewhere to look to find out all the answers to these questions and to also share tips and advice on your childs school life and finding the best schools in your area.

So please come and join our exciting new forum and get posting your questions and views, we are a website set up by parents for parents so if you have any comments or suggestions on our website, please contact us at:samdiss@schooltalkuk.com
